The lights of the city still in my brain... Keep the light on. Miles.

June 6, 2010. My life, one photo a day

Sometimes works of art and beauty are forged in fire. Sometimes the gods just drop them on us. This photo wasn't in Italy or at a glass factory south of the border. It was on a street in Denver at a small booth on the street. You really don't have to go far to find the amazing and unusual. He told me he could make a SMOR in about 3 seconds....Miles

Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder. The Denver Chalk art festival is no different. About a hundred street artists sitting and laying in the middle of the street in the hot Colorado sun doing their thing. Some amazing stuff in the middle of Larimar and 14th streets. A toast to all those artists who do their things for the rest of us to enjoy....Prost.. Miles

June 4, 2010. My life, one photo a day

We have all thought about it....what if, what if we decided to do our dream. Would that mean we rely on the few who hit the red velvet with worn green paper? The point is, does it really matter? What is the price of a dream, the measured cost of hope, or the debt owed to yourself for not taking the chance? Who knows really.... you can bet your narrowed myopic ass that when they start throwing dirt on you at the end of it all....your pockets will be empty..... stay in the game until the lights go off...Miles

June 3, 2010. My life, one photo a day

Sometimes you just have to sit and read a good book. It's all about getting your groove back and I needed it today. Too many uncontrollable things happening around me. One of the these days it will be time to start the revolution. That day is not that many turns of the calendar away.... A toast to all who have control and to those who have decided they want it. This is the view of the old 3856 and it's driver, Vern. Actually, I don't know that he is Vern, but there is not a doubt in my mind that if his mother saw this picture she would want to name him that. This photo is from the patio of NOISE. I could have thrown him my sandwich if I hadn't eaten it already. Vern is in charge of alot of iron and even more horn. I can't figure those people out that get hit at train crossings in urban areas? Maybe it's natural selection at work? Thank you Charles Darwin. MIles

Beautiful weather in LODO. This is the view from a tiny restaurant bar named the Corridor. The shape fits the name. Great place with amazing decor. We met our buddy Touhami for a drink and some grub. Very nice evening. It's amazing when you find someone who completely makes you feel at home in a very short amount of time. Who knows Morocco may be in the future. MIles
