On a barren stretch of Colorado 40 about 60 miles Southeast of Steamboat Springs I found the most visually appealing picnic table I have ever stumbled across. The strange thing about it was that this visual superstar was also the most inhospitable piece of real estate within a 100 miles. A solid breeze and an air temperature of -8 degrees. As we would say in the old country "butt ass cold".
It reminded me that we can all find the picnic if we are willing to stand in the cold for a little while...
