January 24, 2010, My life, one photo a day

Our last full day in Guatemala. We were certainly wrong about the Sunday Indian market. At 10 pm on Saturday there was no one there and during the night and early morning it transformed from nothing to mass chaos. The streets were filled with tourists and vendors. Some great faces and scenes unfolded in front of us. This was the Mayan celebration that was heading up to the sacred stone on the hill. After the market it was a 3 hour drive to Guatemala City.
